KETELHUISPLEIN
During Dutch Design Week the Ketelhuisplein transforms into an open air exhibition. As art director I developed a concept for placing the projects, routing, lighting and identity; visual elements to tie it all together. The ’21 edition was overshadowed by Corona, we responded by realising ‘liberation installations’ made of elements of enforcement; walking directions, fences and traffic cones.
The ’22 edition was all about opening up and celebrating. The heart of the square was the bar, placed within a pinnacle of dutch design; the roundabout. Crosswalk striping spatially organised the entire square.
